Can't I just do this myself?You definitely can! However, what makes us unique is that we do life with college students all the time, so we know what's relevant and trendy. (or we'd like to think so!) We also work in ministry and have a good pulse on what will help college students to be pushed in their faith. The books and devotionals that we choose go along with each box's theme. They will help students take a next step in their faith, no matter where they are. We also take time to curate tips on how to thrive in college and in their faith. So you can do this yourself, send your college student some baked goods, but we're making it easier for you. We're putting our experience to good use and sending some encouragement.

What box will I be receiving when I order a subscription?Annual Subscription: - If purchased before September 15, your college student will receive the Fall Box in early September. If you purchase the annual subscription after September 15, you will receive the Fall Box on the purchase date and then the Finals 1, Spring, and Finals 2 boxes at their scheduled times. Semester Subscription: - You are able to select which box you want each semester. One Time Box: - If purchased before October 15, you will receive the Fall box. - If purchased between October 16 and December 15, you will receive the Finals 1 box. - If purchased between December 16 and February 15, you will receive the Spring box. - If purchased between February 16 and May 30, you will receive the Finals 2 box. **If you would like other options, please email us after you checkout and we can help you out.

What is an Encourage U subscription?An Encourage U subscription is an auto-renewing subscription service for college students. When purchasing an Encourage U Subscription box, you will receive a Christian themed box that includes items such as a devotional or book, Scripture cards, practical tips for college life, snacks, a journal or calendar, stickers, and more fun surprises! Subscription options are annual (four times a year), semester (twice a year, once each semester), or a one-time gift (delivered when you choose).

Can I adopt a college student?Absolutely! If you don't know a college student specifically but want to encourage one, we can pick one for you! If you'd like to send a box, we can pick some college students we know or reach out to our network of college ministers and send a subscription box. Shoot us an email if you'd like to know more! What if I don't know my college student's address yet?That's fine! Enter your home address for now, and as soon as you know your college student's address update your account with the correct one.

How do I update my shipping information?Directions to update your shipping address: - Login to your account with your email and password used at sign up. - After logging in, the screen will pull up your account. - Select edit in the address box and make the necessary changes. - Then select save. If you have trouble with it, email us at encourageyourcollegestudent@gmail.com

When will my boxes ship?Annual Subscription: - Fall Box: Early September - Finals 1 Box: Late October, Early November - Spring Box: Early February - Finals 2 Box: Mid-April Semester Subscription: - The two boxes you choose will ship on the schedule above. One Time Box: Options to ship as soon as you purchase it or when scheduled (above). - If purchased before October 15, you will receive the Fall box. - If purchased between October 16 and December 15, you will receive the Finals 1 box. - If purchased between December 16 and February 15, you will receive the Spring box. - If purchased between February 16 and May 30, you will receive the Finals 2 box. When the order ships you will receive an email with tracking information. Use that tracking link to find out when your order will arrive. Encourage U partners with a shipping fulfillment network. Your shipment is processed, picked up and then handed off to the USPS network for “last-mile” delivery so the postal carrier that visits your address every day can deliver your packages. Your package will be delivered to the final destination by your local USPS carrier typically within 4 – 7 business days after it begins tracking. Sometimes it may be longer, depending on your location throughout the United States or overseas. Holidays or weather in your local areas can also cause delays. ***Please note that due to COVID-19, you may experience longer shipping delays. USPS has posted the following alert - ALERT: DUE TO LIMITED TRANSPORTATION AVAILABILITY AS A RESULT OF NATIONWIDE COVID-19 IMPACTS, PACKAGE DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED.

I tracked my box and it doesn't seem to be moving. Why is this?This is normal for packages to start tracking and then stop. Depending on the distance from one facility to the next, tracking may not update for up to 4-5 business days (sometimes more) as the package travels to its next location. There may also be times where a parcel may not move due to holidays or weather related network closures. ***PLEASE NOTE - Due to COVID-19, USPS is experiencing many shipping delays and your tracking my not update for longer periods of time and my not deliver for several weeks. We truly apologize for any delays you may be experiencing.

How much does shipping cost?Shipping is included for US shipments on all subscription orders. International shipments vary, but you can see your shipping total at checkout before you order your products. We are currently only shipping to the US and Canada.

When will boxes be sent?For annual subscriptions (4 per year): - Fall Box: Early September - Finals 1 Box: Late October/Early November - Spring Box: Early February - Finals 2 Box: Mid-April For One Semester Subscriptions: Once each semester - For One Time Boxes: - You have the option of sending the latest box we sent out as soon as you order or waiting for the upcoming box.

Do you ship internationally?We are currently only shipping to the US and Canada.

How can I change my shipping address?You can update your shipping address at any time from your account page. Shipping addresses must be updated by the 15th of the month to ensure correct delivery. If your address is not updated before the 15th of the month, the box will be sent to your old address.

Shipping AddressesWe understand that college students move often. We will email to confirm your address about a week before shipping. Please make sure that your account is up to date. If you need to make changes, update your account and feel free to email us, just to double check.

What is your return policy?At the current moment, we do not accept returns and therefore refunds cannot be issued in the event a Encourage U Subscription Box is shipped back to our warehouse. If a purchased subscription box arrives damaged or is missing an item, our team will look into the matter and see if that box or single item can be reshipped. However, sending back boxes no longer wanted, does not warrant a refund as we do not accept returns. Therefore we ask that you bless someone you know can use your EncourageU box instead. My subscription box was not deliveredIf you have a subscription and your box has not been delivered by the 15th of the month, or if you ordered something from our store and you think it may be lost or delivered to the wrong address, please contact Encourageyourcollegestudent@gmail.com and we will do our best to locate your order for you. Our Customer Service will work with you as best we can to ensure you receive the products you paid for.

I moved and forgot to change my addressWe understand that college students move often. We will do our best to accommodate this. We will also email to confirm the address before we ship the boxes. Please update your account as soon as you know your updated address. If it is close to the time that the boxes will be shipped, please email us to update the address as well. If the boxes have already shipped, we will try our best to help out in any way we can but we'll need your help too. Please log in to your account to view your address and then contact Customer Service. Please provide us with your account name and correct email address associated with the order, along with your old and new address and we will review your account to ensure future shipments reach you. If you are not able to retrieve this shipment from its shipping location, no worries we will make arrangements to issue a replacement, additional fees may apply.

How will I be billed?All subscriptions are billed at an upfront cost dependant on your subscription package with free US shipping and renews automatically annually.

How does checkout work?Once you have selected your subscription, you will continue to the checkout page. If you have a promo code, this can be added underneath the line item as seen here and the discounted amount will automatically be applied and displayed. If you need to remove an item from your cart, you can do so by clicking on the red “X” seen here. Then enter your information, create a login, and check out.

Is my information safe?Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. What happens if I receive a broken or damaged product?If you receive a product that is not in the condition it should be in, please contact customer support at Encourageyourcollegestudent@gmail.com. Include pictures and any information that might explain the damage.

How do I reset my password?Under the “LOG IN” tab at the top of the website, there is a link underneath the Password box that says “Forgot Password?” Click the link and follow the instructions. What/Who is Encourage U?We are a Christian ministry, passionate about encouraging college students to grow in their faith throughout college. Our mission is to engage college students with fun mail that will help them grow their faith in God, impact their community, and thrive in college. Encourage U is not affiliated with any bible study or church group.

Is Encourage U apart of a church or Bible study program?We are not affiliated with a church or any Bible study program. Encourage U is an independent ministry who strives to have it’s subscribers create a closer relationship with Christ and help members grow in their faith during college.

Can I give directly to Encourage U?Sure! If you don't want to buy a box but want to minister to college students, or if you just want to support what we're doing, you can make a tax-deductible donation to Chris Ministries. All donations will go toward helping college students love Jesus.
